Service Description

In this course students will learn the basics of handbuilding with clay. How to make a pinch pot, coil, slab, and how to score & slip to connect pieces together. From there we will create functional and/or nonfunctional clay pieces. From mugs, cups, and bowls to animals, monsters, and figures. This course has 4 sessions that meet for an 1 and 1/2 hours. During each session, students will learn 2-3 different clay projects. Students will then have the opportunity to glaze or paint all their pieces on the last session. The pieces will then be set aside to dry and then fired in the kiln.
